Butte is not quite like any other place on earth.
Come here for a day and you’ll notice the friendliness of strangers you won’t get any other place, unique cuisine of pork chop sandwiches and pasties that are family traditions, and an urban landscape of century-old architecture.
A few years ago (who am I kidding, 7 years!) I started Butte Daily Photo to keep myself inspired in photography before taking the leap to full time photography in 2009.
The photos include dramatic nightscapes, century old buildings and peeling paint, and stories of murderers, miners and millionaires that once resided in Butte.
This blog was an active daily photo blog for two years, and is now just a great archive.
